Swimming Through the Hallway
Lots of our students walk through the hallways with "bubbles in their mouths" so that they will stay quiet while other students are working in their classrooms. Today, I was helping a first grade class get ready for our annual bus evacuation drill and when we walked down the hallway, these students went SWIMMING! We "dove in" in at the beginning and swam through the hallways all the way to the outer doors where we "came up for air" ...because you can't talk under water, right? What a fun way to move through the building, allow your squirrely kids an opportunity to get their wiggles out, and keep the hallways quiet.
